Chattanooga has announced that the traffic signal at Main and Market streets will undergo work today from 9 to 11 a.m.
The signal will be turned off at times and the intersection will operate as a four-way stop. A news release said drivers are asked to approach the intersection with caution.
Also, the Chattanooga Transportation Department has announced that Fort Street between West 13th and West 14th streets and West 14th Street between Fort and Chestnut streets will be closed through Sunday for the Coker Tire Challenge.
The closings will continue until 2 p.m. Sunday.
