Victim identified after fatal crash
BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. – The victim of a fatal head-on collision Thursday on Springplace Road in Bradley County has been identified as Kim Thompson, 53, of Cleveland.
The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office said its traffic unit is investigating the crash that injured the driver of the other vehicle.
According to reports, Thompson was driving south in the 3300 block of Springplace Road when her vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a Kia van driven by Christina Moore, 41, of Cleveland.
Moore was treated at SkyRidge Medical Center for a leg injury.
Thompson was the first traffic fatality of 2014 in Bradley County, the sheriff’s office news release stated.
