The victim in this morning’s shooting on Central Avenue has died, according to police.

Terrence Lebron Bivens, 28, was shot around 3:50 a.m. at 3732 Central Avenue and was dead when officers arrived, according to police.

Bivens is the third homicide victim in Chattanooga during the last seven days. At a press conference this afternoon, police said they will soon be starting a new approach to curb violent crime in Chattanooga.
