Luke H. NederNeder joins Dale Buchanan
Dale Buchanan and Associates has announced the hiring of attorney Luke H. Neder. The firm, which specializes in Social Security disability matters, recruited Neder to develop a personal injury and workers’ compensation practice.
Neder has extensive experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury actions in a variety of contexts. He has represented insurance companies and defended insured parties, giving him unique insight into how the insurance process works. He has experience in jury and bench trials and appears in state and federal court.
Neder is a Chattanooga native with strong ties to the Chattanooga area and bar.
Elliott Davis Decosimo recognized
Elliott Davis Decosimo is recognized as the firm with the highest level of annual revenue growth for 2014 by Accounting Today. The firm moves up in rankings from No. 51 to No. 28 on Accounting Today’s 2015 Top 100 Firms list. The list ranks accounting firms nationwide based on revenue and evaluates various accounting industry benchmarks.
The 2015 Accounting Today listings marked the first annual rankings released following the merger of Elliott Davis and Decosimo. Of the firms comprising Accounting Today’s listings for year-over-year growth in annual revenue, Elliott Davis Decosimo ranked first in the country with a 70 percent growth rate in 2014 and was only one of three firms on the list to exceed a growth rate of 50 percent.
Linden joins Southern Hearth and Patio
Southern Hearth and Patio announces the hiring of George E. Linden as vice president of operations. Linden will report to Clay Dennis, owner and CEO.
Most recently, Linden was vice president and a founding partner at TruMedical Solutions in Ooltewah. Before that he spent 32 years with Mars Chocolate at several locations in North America where he held management positions in operations, logistics and personnel.
A native of Hershey, Pa., he attended Elizabethtown College with a focus in business management.
Southern Hearth and Patio is a provider of sales and service of fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, grills and fire pits in Chattanooga.
Mortgage Investors takes top honors
The Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association recognized six Mortgage Investors Group loan officers for outstanding home loan production at its annual awards banquet, said company officials.
The CMBA recognized senior loan officer Brian Kniegge as a 2014 Top Producer during the banquet at Public House restaurant. Kniegge has more than 16 years experience in the mortgage lending industry, including 12 years with MIG. The CMBA also recognized him as one of its Diamond winners for closing loans valued at more than $20 million.
In addition, loan officers Linda Denham, Lindsey Wood, Denise Tate and Debby Daniels received the Gold Award for closing at least $10 million in loans.
