From 9 a.m to noon on Wednesday, Dixie Group and the Georgia Department of Labor will be screening applicants for 28 open position at Dixie Group’s Chatsworth manufacturing facility.
Dixie Group manufactures floor coverings, and is looking to hire creelers, tufting machine operators and menders. Applicants must be 18, have a high school diploma or GED and minimum six months’ experience. Applicants also must undergo background checks and drug screenings.
Wednesday’s screening will be held at the Georgia Department of Labor’s Dalton Career Center at 1406 Chattanooga Ave., Dalton. More information is available at www.gdol.ga.gov.
