CHICAGO (AP) – Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign will center on boosting middle-class economic security and broadening opportunities for working families.
And the former senator and secretary of state will try to cast herself as a fighter who can get results in a tough political climate.
That’s according to two senior advisers.
They’re providing the first preview of the message Clinton plans to convey when she launches her long-anticipated campaign Sunday with an online video.
So far, the former first lady has only offered hints of what would drive her if she were to run for the White House for a second time.
The strategy described by Clinton’s advisers has echoes of President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
The advisers insisted on anonymity in order to discuss the plans ahead of Sunday’s announcement.
