The Chattanooga Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information about multiple thefts of trailers, boats on trailers, and trailers holding large construction equipment that have occurred in the past several weeks.
Additionally, authorities are asking people who own any type of trailer or boat to make sure that these things are adequately secured.
Police are also encouraging owners to place an identifying mark, or marks, somewhere in a hidden spot which only the owner would know.
