No injuries were reported at the fire today at Paladin Attachments, but damages are listed at $100,000.

Employees at Paladin Attachments, formerly known as C&P Attachments, noticed a “hot spot” on one of the filters in the Paint Shop. They attempted to cool the spot, but the filter burst into flames.

They called 911 at around 4:30 p.m. and Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to the business at 8822 Apison Pike within minutes, according to a release from Hamilton County Emergency Services.

The fire activated the water extinguishing system, and authorities said the system prevented the entire business from burning down.

The cause of the fire will be under investigation by Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department Fire Marshall’s Office.
