Willard Harmon, Dustin Hickman, Dustin E. StacyWould-be safe thieves had their plot foiled when neighbors saw them flipping a safe across a parking lot and informed police. The kicker? The safe was completely empty.
In the early hours of Monday morning, Kingsport police received an anonymous tip that three men were flipping a safe across the parking lot of Model City Apartments. The tipster informed the officers the three men dragged the safe into apartment D-9.
Officers responded and talked to Willard Harmon, 41, 1000 Stonegate Road, D-9. At the apartment the officers also spoke with Harmon’s son, Dustin Hickman, 27, 234 Carters Valley Gardens, Kingsport and another man, Dustin E. Stacy, 26, 359 Barnett Drive Lot #2, Kingsport.
