THE FANCY BRAID
Start with the scarf around your neck with the ends hanging in front, then cross and tie the ends like you would if you were starting to tie your shoe. This tie will decide the length you want your finished scarf to hang. Holding one scarf end in one hand and one in the other, bring the right over the left. Grab that now left side and draw it up under and over the top. You can pull this as tight or loose as you like. Repeat until you get to the end and finish the braid with a knot.

THE TWIST
Center the scarf at the back of your neck and start twisting the ends until almost the entire length of the scarf is twisted. It will start to curl around itself. If the scarf is long, you can loop it around your neck a second time. Tie a knot to keep it in place.

THE SQUARE KNOT
Place the scarf around the back of your neck with the ends hanging in front. Tie the ends of the scarf together once. Bring the front end back around the bottom end and through the loop created by the two as they cross.
