Alinsky-ites have little new to offer
Mark Twain said, “It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.”
The writer of the subject letter in a recent paper proved that point. He must have been a student of the late Saul Alinsky, a radical left-wing advocate of socialism, considered by many to be the father of community organizing. What was Obama’s main employment prior to entering politics? Community organizing!
Yesterday’s letter could have been lifted directly from rule 5 of Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals. It states: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” It is obvious yesterday’s writer did not let facts get in his way. His entire letter reeks of ridicule, which ties in directly to rule 6: “A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.” His enjoyment should be obvious to people who have read previous letters by him and other old-line Democrats of his ilk. All they do is ridicule conservatives. They generally offer no facts later than the Roosevelt era.
Alinsky also greatly influenced Hillary Clinton, as an Internet search will show. Further radical socialism in the presidency will be harmful to the country.
