Ryan Oyer cashes in on Road to Nightfall victory with headlining show

The last time Ryan Oyer played to a crowd as big as he’ll likely look out on as this week’s Nightfall headliner, he was beneath an overpass.

In 2013, the local singer/songwriter and his band brought their mellow, Brit-pop-inspired songs to Riverbend, performing on the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union Stage under the Market Street Bridge. Those who haven’t seen him since will probably notice a lot of changes when he headlines at Miller Plaza on Friday, July 12.
