The workplace in America continues to evolve and a traveling Smithsonian exhibit at GreenSpaces on Main Street offers a look at “The Way We Worked.”
It is also designed to prompt discussion on what workspaces will be like in the future.
That was a big reason GreenSpaces wanted to be involved in the month-long exhibit, says Dawn Hjelseth, director of development at the organization, whose goal is to promote the sustainability of living, working and building in Chattanooga. It does so through classes, competitions, programs and campaigns.
“The Smithsonian wants to place the exhibit near Main Street wherever they go, and obviously that is part of what we are about as well,” Hjelseth says.
