Person shot twice in the head in Chattanooga

Police are looking for suspects in a shooting this morning when a man was shot twice in the head, but the injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Demetrice Joshen, 21, was walking down 32nd Street toward Dodds Avenue with two other parties, according to the Chattanooga Police, when a tan or gold four-door Toyota pulled in front of them at the 3100 block of 10th Avenue.

Two occupants were in the car, and one of them opened fired, hitting Joshen twice in the head. The two parties then got back into the car and sped off.

Joshen was transported to a local hospital.

Witnesses were not able to provide descriptions of the two people in the car, and police ask anyone with information to call police at 423-698-2525.
