GADSDEN, Ala. - Police say a man has been arrested on kidnapping and rape charges in northeast Alabama.
Al.com reported Wednesday that 34-year-old Marcus LeShaun Harris is accused of holding a woman at gunpoint at a residence where he assaulted and raped her. Harris was arrested Monday morning.
Gadsden Police Sgt. John Hallman says Harris has $100,000 cash bonds on each charge.
Harris is being held at the Etowah County Jail. It's not clear whether Harris has an attorney.
Harris is also being held for a probation violation.
