Ooltewah mobile home burns down

At 2:45 a.m. the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) responded to a mobile home structure fire located at 4250 Woodland Drive.

Firefighters arrived on scene to find a double-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames. The VFD worked to get the fire under control.

A family member arrived on scene and told officials that the mobile home was her father's residence, he was deceased and she was in the process of cleaning out his personal items. She said no one had been living at the residence for months and it had no electricity.

Fire officials requested the Hamilton County Sheriff's Arson Division to investigate the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported.
