Helen Koulianos Jones’ love of nature will be evident in her show opening Friday, April 15, at Exum Gallery inside St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 305 W. Seventh St.

Titled “Timeless Elegance: Classic to Contemporary,” the show will highlight a variety of her subjects, which include florals, wildlife, landscapes, still lifes, wall murals, automobiles, pet portraits and architecture.

A graduate of Indiana State University with a business degree, Jones had four watercolor lessons while living in Atlanta in 1983, then celebrities, banks, corporations, hospitals, designers and homeowners began commissioning art.

Her travels to Greek islands, France, Canada, the Western United States and the Caribbean also inspire her work, which she accomplishes in a variety of mediums – watercolor, oil, acrylic, ink, charcoal and pencil.

The opening reception is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m.
