Police responded to the scene of a shooting at the 4000 block of Oakwood Drive in Chattanooga where a person was shot shortly after midnight Monday morning, according to Hamilton County's dispatch page.
Police located a juvenile victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg and hand on the roadway near the intersection of Oakwood Drive and Webb Road.
The victim described the suspect as being in a white truck or SUV. No further suspect information is available.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by HCEMS. Chattanooga Violent Crimes Bureau Investigators continue to follow all actionable leads.
