Not all the horses at the St. Jude Rodeo are bucking broncos.
Pony rides, as well as camel rides and bounce houses, are also part of the fun.
Now in its 19th year, the rodeo that raises funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will feature bareback and saddle bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, breakaway roping, calf roping, steer wrestling and team roping among its competitive events.
Gates open at 6 p.m. and competition starts at 7 p.m. today through Saturday, Aug. 4-6, at Doug Yates Farm, 11738 Alabama Highway in Ringgold Ga.
Tickets, sold at the gate, are $15 for ages 13 and up, $5 children 6-12.
