Speed enforcement is lacking on highways

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all law enforcement would get out on the highway and do their jobs?

We go from Spring City to Chattanooga on Highway 27 fairly often. It is extremely rare that we see a police officer. I do the speed limit, and no matter what road I’m on, most everyone is doing 10 to 50 mph over the speed limit. They are texting, putting on makeup, even driving with dogs sitting in drivers’ laps, etc.

Everyone knows the chances of getting caught are super slim. All I’m asking is for police, sheriff and highway patrol to do their job. Does anyone even care? I think not.
