RipeRipe, a Boston-based funk/pop party band, will transform Ross’s Landing, 150 Riverfront Parkway, into a dance floor for the next Riverfront Nights on Saturday, Aug. 13.
Featuring Robbie Wulfsohn (vocals), Tory Geismar (guitar), Jon Becker (guitar), Sampson Hellerman (drums), Josh Shpak (trumpet, electronic wind instrument), Calvin Barthel (trombone) and Nadav Shapira (bass), the band recently released the sophomore EP “Hey Hello” and plans to record a full-length album in the coming year.
Chattanooga’s Blues Hammer Band, playing Delta blues, rock and soul, will open the show at 7 p.m.
