Located less than 30 miles north of the booming Nashville core, Robertson County’s slogan is “Minutes from Nashville, miles from ordinary.”
“Things are changing rapidly here,” says Robertson County Chamber of Commerce President Margot Fosnes. “We’re getting the effects of the growth of the Middle Tennessee region and the Nashville area in a big way.”
Investment is taking hold in the downtown area of Springfield, the county seat, and many are eyeing the county for its affordable cost of living.
“It’s getting on people’s radar as a place to live, grow their businesses and also have things to do,” Fosnes says.
It’s also a great place to visit. Springfield’s revitalized, walkable historic district offers boutique shopping at stores like Hey Belle Boutique and Burdett’s Tea Shop, among others.
