Parents could ride kids’ buses
I am horrified six children were killed going home from school. Yes, we can blame the driver, company, etc. But let’s focus on making sure it does not happen again.
There were 37 children on that bus, which means 74 parents were involved. I suggest those parents take turns riding on the school bus, especially for those so young.
First, the driver would be held accountable. And should he become ill, while driving, the parent knows what to do.
Second, if unruly children cause a commotion, the parent could handle it. The bus driver only needs to focus his/her attention on the road.
