Local author Rex Blevins will sign copies of his new book, "As I Recall: Memories From a Lifetime in Dade County," from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Dade County Library, 102 Court St., on the courthouse square in downtown Trenton, Ga.
Blevins, whose ancestry goes back 150 years in Dade County, says he wrote "As I Recall" to capture the joys and struggles of family and friends in the North Georgia community.
"You won't want to miss the real-life stories about the snake handlers, moonshining and spending 17 years in jail," he says.
Extra copies of the book will be available for purchase at the signing.
