Community Kitchen
As winter approaches, please keep our neighbors outside in mind.
Each year, thousands of people come to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen for food, shelter, jobs and help. I know of no other place where people can turn the minute they become homeless and have their immediate needs met.
Most importantly, the folks at the kitchen work to change lives over the long haul – offering permanent housing, counseling and compassion to all who are served. People may come for a meal, but they leave with much more.
I am proud to serve on the board of the Chattanooga Community Kitchen and hope to see our community support this fine work.
