Nine Chattanooga area restaurants and one hotel received perfect scores on their recent health inspections, meaning that no problems were found during the inspector’s visit.

While some Chattanooga restaurants got marked down for infractions ranging from touching food with bare hands to dirty prep surfaces, no restaurants received failing scores this week.

The list of Chattanooga’s cleanest restaurants included Flying Squirrel, Swiss AM, Pizza Hut, China Kitchen, Aji Peruvian, Rib & Loin, The Daily Grind, Marco’s Pizza and Chatterbox. All received perfect scores of 100 percent.

The lowest-scored restaurant was Mrs. B’s Reggae Cafe at 3103 S. Broad Street, which received an 82.

Health inspectors also rate hotels, and only one hotel received a perfect score this week: The Crash Pad, which managed by the owners of the Flying Squirrel, received a perfect score alongside its sister business.

The Red Roof Inn at 2431 Williams Street received the lowest health score for a hotel, with an 87.
