* La Paz Father/Daughter Dance: 6-8 p.m. today, Feb. 11, at The Camp House, 149 E. M.L. King Blvd.
La Paz is collaborating with the J.A. Henry YMCA, The Camp House and The Mission: Chattanooga to offer this special event for fathers and daughters ages 3-12. Now in its second year, this Chattanooga Presents event is designed for fathers (or father figures) and their little princesses (ages 3-17) to be royally entertained. The Tennessee Aquarium's own "love boat" will take a romantic three-hour cruise into Tennessee River's grand canyon, where a naturalist will point out wildlife and talk about their courtship rituals as passengers munch on complimentary appetizers (a cash bar has wine, beer and soft drinks). The captains are ordained ministers for any couples who want to renew their vows or tie the knot. Aquarium members pay $34 for adults, $24 for children. Nonmembers pay $42 and $32.
