Principled Little gets Marsh vote

For 30 years, I have known Mike Little as an employer, counselor, mentor and friend. I have witnessed his responses to difficult situations, including saving the life of a 14-year-old who almost drowned in a hotel pool.

I have been impressed by his ability to see the other side of a conflict. He possesses a wisdom not found in most people.

When I first met Mike, he was general manager of the Read House. Later, he became the resident manager of the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. Twenty-five years ago, Mike changed direction to pursue a law degree. He put himself through night law school while working as a bailiff in Criminal Court, the same court he now seeks.

Mike has practiced law for 18 years. His criminal law experience is extensive, including 50 jury trials in state and federal courts. His experience is unmatched. During the last 16 months, Mike has been executive assistant, overseeing the legal side of the Public Defender’s office.
