Former NFL defensive lineman Joe Ehrmann will present “Masculinity 2.0: Confronting Stereotypes of What It Means To Be a Man,” at 7 p.m. today, Feb. 18, at Redemption Point Church, 1907 Bailey Ave.
His presentation is hosted by the National Center for Development of Boys, a nonprofit research and development organization associated with McCallie School.
Organizers say the event is meant to break the “boy code” and unhealthy concepts of masculinity.
Ehrmann played for the Baltimore Colts and Detroit Lions during his professional football career.
After retiring from the NFL, he went on to coach high school football and was named “The Most Important Coach in America” by Parade magazine.
Admission is free.
