The Chattanooga Football Club has bragged about and benefited from its depth all season.
That depth has been most evident when it comes to the team’s ability to score goals, as well as when those goals have been scored.
Part of the offensive approach has been to test the opponent in the first half, make adjustments and take advantage of those opportunities in the second half. As a result, 23 of the team’s 36 goals have come in the second half of matches.
Entering Thursday night’s exhibition against the Tigres UANL reserves at 7:30 at Finley Stadium, 11 different players have scored this season for CFC (13-2-1). Luke Winter leads with eight goals, while Samuel Goni and Will Roberts have six apiece.
