Master Gardeners of Hamilton County member Carol Mathews will lead a free class on hydrangeas from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 16, at the University of Tennessee Extension office, 6183 Adamson Circle.
Matthews says these long-lived flowering shrubs come in a range of whites, pinks and blues, as well as a variety of petal arrangements, from huge and puffy to flat and almost saucer-shaped.
Saturday’s class is one in a series of free classes offered by MGHC.
