A severe thunderstorm warning issued today for Hamilton County and the greater Chattanooga area has expired.
The National Weather Service predicted strong winds, heavy rain, lightning and damaging hail in this system.
The severe thunderstorm warnings issued for Bledsoe, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie counties have also expired.
