If you want to get Johnny E. Smith, president of Songbirds Guitar Museum and professional drummer, talking, ask him about Rich Redmond.

Redmond is a drummer whose credits include recording, touring or performing with artists including Ludacris, Kelly Clarkson, Bryan Adams and Eric Church, but he is also a producer, songwriter, speaker and author who has developed a philosophy on how to achieve success in any field. He will present his “CRASH Course for Success” on Monday, July 25, at The Camp House.

CRASH is an acronym for Commitment, Relationships, Attitude, Skill and Hunger. His motivational presentation is being presented by SoundCorps, the local music advocacy organization that has also produced workshops on being a professional in the music world.

Smith is active in the local music scene as a player and advocate, and he has been working behind the scenes to bring Redmond to town.
