ABOUT TRANSCARD
Originally established out of Chattanooga-based long-haul trucking firm U.S. Xpress to operate and manage driver fuel and payment accounts, TransCard in 2011-12 shifted its focus to providing third-party payment account software for corporations all over the country.TransCard is headed by Greg Bloh, president; Chris Fuller, chief revenue officer; John Haddock, chief financial officer; Ed Kelley, vice president of financial institutions; and Ann Evans, vice president of corporate solutions.TransCard employs 60 people, and is headquartered on Riverfront Parkway in Chattanooga.
Born out of the long-haul trucking and logistics industry, TransCard, a Chattanooga-based software company, is trying to perfect the way companies pay out salaries and rebates.
TransCard has enjoyed quiet success narrowing its focus from its original business model of operating and managing payment and fuel accounts for employees of U.S. Xpress (the privately-held Chattanooga long-haul company it sprang from) to now operating and managing payment accounts for corporations and hundreds of thousands of their employees.
TransCard recently rolled out a new feature, Paynuver, which acts as a payment account provider.
In simplest terms, TransCard owns and operates third-party payment account software and technology – which means TransCard provides companies and corporations a standardized way of paying their workers and handing out customer rebates and disbursements.
