A year after making several significant enhancements to AT&T Field, Chattanooga Lookouts officials have more notable changes on the way with hopes of an even more enjoyable 2016 season.
Last year marked the first for the Lookouts under new owner Jason Freier, who purchased the team just 42 days before the start of the season. Yet that was enough time for Freier to update the luxury suites on the facility’s third level and construct a deck behind the wall down the left-field line that served as a popular gathering spot.
This time around, the Lookouts have turned their attention to the concourse area.
“We’re going to almost double the size of our gift shop,” Lookouts president and general manager Rich Mozingo said. “We’re going to knock down walls and redo the whole gift shop, and it will be huge. We’re also updating our menu to where we’ll have two stands that are dedicated to other food types this year.
“Every stand was the same last year, but we’ll have a barbecue stand or a Mexican stand – our food choices will be dramatically expanded.”
