“I have been drawing and painting since childhood and have always loved art. The beauty in creation and the joy of capturing that beauty through art captivates and motivates me. Every object and its detail grabs my attention and cries to my heart ‘Paint me!’ and becomes a painting within the painting. I guess that’s why my style is called realism or, as I like to call it, realistic naturalism.
“I find inspiration in many subjects. Portraits of people and wildlife, land and seascapes are all interesting to me. I am always seeing things, places and people and think ‘I want to paint that.’ I love studying other artists and often after doing so, I am ready to create. I love art, but I really love to do art!”
