Trump as president: always about him
Understand that Donald Trump is a master of persuasion. He is also a brand maker like Apple, General Motors or McDonald’s. What he is not is honest or presidential.
Everything Trump does is part of a strategy – carefully crafted tactics. He gives no details on policies. Every time he’s questioned on issues or his rhetoric, he pivots to bragging on his dubious business successes or name-calling, exalting him to demagogic heights. The man “loves” everybody, and everybody “loves” him.
Trump revels in inciting crowds with tough-guy, inflammatory and sometimes violent remarks to capture headlines. And, sadly, a pliable media bites the hook. All is part of an elaborate strategy to make “Trump” the first thought on peoples’ minds. It’s like selling soap.
Trump is dangerous. His egotism, narcissism and elusiveness are designed to create a product rather than a president. And thousands of people are being fooled into thinking he is a messenger of positive change by selling himself as “flexible” on issues, no matter what he has said before.
