Levi Michael lined a single to right field with one out in the bottom of the 11th inning Monday night and scored Ryan Walker from second base.

That lifted the Chattanooga Lookouts to a 3-2 victory over the Jacksonville Suns in a Southern League baseball game in front of a crowd of 4,900 at AT&T Field.

Mitch Garver started Chattanooga’s half of the 11th by singling to left. Walker tried to sacrifice him to second but Tyler Bremer (4-3), who ended up being the losing pitcher, fielded the bunt and threw Garver out. Stuart Turner walked, moving Walker into scoring position and setting the stage for Michael.

Reliever Trevor Hildenberger (1-2) picked up the pitching victory. He threw two perfect innings with four strikeouts.

Leo Reginatto was Chattanooga’s leading hitter coming into the game and improved on his .293 batting average with a 3-for-4 night that included a double as well as the game-tying RBI single in the fifth. Zack Granite also went 3-for-4, and he scored the first run for the Lookouts (27-30) on Daniel Palka’s first-inning sacrifice fly.

Palka came into the current homestand off five games in Birmingham, Ala., where he hit five home runs with one being a grand slam and was making a bid to become the first Lookouts player this season to be chosen SL Player of the week. Instead, Pensacola’s Brandon Dixon was selected as the award winner after hitting six home runs in his five games – each a multihit game – while batting .632 with 31 total bases and 12 RBIs.
