The Signal Mountain High School marching band is raising funds this summer through several car washes to be held in the parking lot of Citizens Tri-County Bank.
Band members will be scrubbing and spraying vehicles once a month for area residents who stop by the bank, with upcoming washes scheduled for Saturday, June 18, July 23 and Aug. 20 from 12:30-4 p.m. each day.
“Any donation is appreciated, and ‘thank you’ to CTC Bank for hosting the car wash,” said Lissa Goeltz, who handles publicity for the SMMHS Music Boosters. “It’s a great time to wash the pollen off your car!”
The money raised through the washes will go toward the band’s general fund, which helps pay expenses such as transportation to away-games and other events.
Citizens Tri-County Bank is at 1306 Taft Highway.
