Dr. Justin Cooke is leaving Signal Mountain Health and Wellness for Birmingham, Ala., and recently held a Farewell Open House at the office to say goodbye to patients and introduce them to his partner, Dr. Greg Nieckula.

“He is perhaps the most genuine and well-trained physician with whom I have had the privilege of knowing and practicing,” Cooke wrote of Nieckula in a letter sent to patients. “He and the staff at Signal Mountain Health and Wellness will continue to provide you the care you deserve.”

Cooke stressed that he was not unhappy in his position, adding that Memorial Health Partners and Mountain Management are great organizations that focus on patient care.

Many of the patients Cooke has seen during his six years at the practice stopped by the open house to wish him well. His final day at the office is Thursday, June 30.

Signal Mountain Health and Wellness is at 1238 Taft Highway and can be reached at 886-2004.
