Space to Move

Thanks to the pocket-transportable wonder of smart mobile devices and anywhere access to digital media storefronts, the only reasonable excuses for tech-savvy travelers to rely on in-flight entertainment are dead batteries or a lack of storage.

The Seagate Wireless Plus solves the latter problem by functioning as a wireless hard drive that offers access to up to 15 times the storage of even the highest-capacity smart phones and tablets.

Using the free Seagate Media app (or other supported apps), as many as eight iOS or Android devices simultaneously can connect to and stream content from the Wireless Plus via the drive’s built-in, password-protected wireless network. The drive is available with capacities of 1-terabyte ($130) or 2-terabytes ($150), which can be pre-loaded with movies, TV shows and music from a computer via a USB 3.0 or wireless connection. Photos and videos also can be wirelessly transferred to the drive from connected devices while on the go.

Need a file from your Dropbox or Google Drive account but can’t be sure the cloud will be available? The Wireless Plus can provide access to critical files when the Internet isn’t available and on-device storage is limited.

Off the road, the Wireless Plus can offer external storage drive to Macs (OS X 10.6 or higher), PCs (Windows XP or later), smart TVs, Internet-connected Blu-ray players, video game consoles and other devices connected to a wireless network.
