North Georgia Computer Solutions is celebrating three years in business in Rock Spring.
“I’ve been in the computer business for 20 years,” said owner Bill Evitt. “I’ve done small jobs and contract jobs and decided to open my own business. My only regret is I wish I had opened my business sooner.”
Most of what North Georgia Computer Solutions sells is tablets, PCs and printers, he said.
“Our biggest-seller is off-lease laptops with Windows 7,” said Evitt. “It’s a computer that was in a business or government office for a few years. We refurbish it and clean the inside fans and upgrade memory and hard drives. When we put it on the shelf it has a six-month warranty. That covers everything except spilling stuff on it, dropping it and viruses.”
