After-hours programming continues with Stitches in Time Quilt Show

A Quilts Trunk Show scheduled Tuesday, March 29, is among the special programming associated with the Stitches in Time Quilt Show at the Museum Center at Five Points, 200 E. Inman St. in Cleveland, Tenn.

Visitors can see the quilts on display, learn techniques and hear the history of particular quilts from four local quilters. They are Marilyn Dunn, who will talk about AccuQuilt designs; Bobbie Brooks, who will highlight the growth in expertise over a lifetime of quilting; Mary Ruth Younger, who specializes in applique; and Margaret McLaughlin, who will showcase handwork, threads and embellishments.

Tonight, March 24, there’s a program about the Technology of Quilting, such as using QR codes in quilts and software available for quilting.

Both programs start at 6 p.m. and are free with regular admission ($4-$5).
