The curtain will rise on Chattanooga Theatre Centre’s Backstage Bash at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, for a theatrical theme party like no other.
Each of the backstage areas of the community theater will have a theme with coordinating decor and drinks. Many of the party’s experiences will be linked to upcoming CTC shows. These include “Camelot” and “Spamalot,” this season’s final productions; and next season’s “Fiddler on the Roof,” “A Midsummer Night’s Disco” and “Love/Sick.”
Guests will dine at food stations catered by Events With Taste and sip cocktails created by mixologists from The Flying Squirrel. There will be dancing to the Monday Night Big Band in the main lobby, a coffee bar, sing-along piano bar with Andrew Chauncey and selfies in the costume shop. Guests also can compete in a scavenger hunt through unexplored sections of the theater to win season tickets.
Tickets are $125 per person, and all proceeds support the operation of the community theater. Tickets may be purchased online at www.TheatreCentre.com or by calling the box office at 423-267-8534.
