‘Sid the Science Kid’ spending the summer at Creative Discovery Museum

In the "Sid the Science Kid" exhibit, visitors can take measurements and weights then record their observations.

A Sid the Science Kid character will be on hand for the Creative Discovery Museum's opening party for the Sid exhibit. Sid will make appearances between 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday, May 28.

Kids can sit down at the kitchen table with Sid's little brother, Zeke.

Young scientists can do hands-on experiments just like the ones Sid and his preschool pals do in Miss Susie's classroom.

Kids can look through a microscope to see nature in a big way.

Hey, Sid! What do you say?

Whatcha want to learn today?

Preschoolers and their parents know those lines open the “Sid the Science Kid” theme song on each episode of the award-winning PBS Kids show of the same name.

Now children can do hands-on experiments just like Sid does in Miss Susie’s class with the arrival of “Sid the Science Kid: The Super Duper Exhibit” at the Creative Discovery Museum. The exhibit will open Saturday, May 28, for a 15-week, summer run at the children’s museum on Chestnut Street.
