Shekari will represent 3rd District best
The recent Free Press endorsement of Chuck Fleischmann, while lukewarm, was undeserved. The case was made that for six years Chuck has been growing into the job. I disagree.

Chuck was ranked 232nd out of 245 House Republicans in his first term and 229th out of 240 in his second term, a dismal performance.
Chuck’s absence in this campaign season is evidence of his failure to answer to the voters. His campaign has said nothing about climate change, a major threat to humanity. Two months before Chattanooga’s July 16, 2015shootings and less than two miles from the site where it started, Chuck told people at a gun rally that he opposed any legislation on guns.
