Barn Door Boutique, Cambridge Square’s first boutique retailer, has opened in a 2,000-square-foot space on Cambridge’s public square.
Construction on the new store began in July and Barn Door opened last week.
Barn Door Boutique (barndoorboutiquetn.com) is owned, managed and operated by local Ooltewah resident Sherry Fortner. Her extended team includes Sales and Marketing Manager Lindsay Dickert, Assistant Manager Ian McClung, and Special Project Manager Jon Dickert.
“Barn Door is going to add yet another dynamic to Cambridge Square,” said Cambridge Square Marketing Director Jim Cheney. “Sherry has worked very hard to bring some great lines to our market, and just in time for the holiday.”
Barn Doorfeatures women and girls clothing, shoes, and jewelry with a nod to BOHO design themes. Featured clothing lines will have origins in some of the major markets in the U.S. including Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. Specific apparel lines include Sea Gypsies (Australia), Entro, and Umgee. Jewelry lines include Good Works, Lulu and Lee, Lorraine Francis, and Judith March. In addition to its chic apparel and accessories, Barn Door will also sell art, antiques, and home décor.
