The driver of a 2015 Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle who allegedly struck and killed a pedestrian on Highway 153 on Sunday has been charged for leaving the scene.

According to police, the victim was attempting to cross the busy highway when Anthony Blake Gamble hit him with his motorcycle.

Though the suspect was not listed as being at fault for the collision, Gamble incurred several charges by what he allegedly did next, police said.

Gamble has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving a fatality, and failure to render aid or provide information to police.

The name of the victim, listed by police only as a Hispanic male, has not been released as officers attempt to locate next-of-kin.

Investigators are looking for witnesses to the accident, which will be discussed in General Sessions Court on Nov. 9.
