River Gallery features Brad Robertson’s coastal-inspired works

Works by Brad Robertson will be featured this month at River Gallery.

Based in Mobile, Ala., Robertson draws upon a life deeply rooted in coastal influences for his works, which combine color and textures to evoke shorelines, landscapes, horizons and portals.

At Auburn University, he spent time studying architecture and industrial design until an art professor nudged him toward the realization that his career path might lie in expressionist art.

Robertson will be present at the opening reception Friday evening, Oct. 7, to discuss his works.

The exhibition will remain up through October. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sundays and by appointment.
