After a slow start in its football season opener last week, Soddy-Daisy was at full speed Friday night at East Hamilton.
The Trojans dominated in a 49-14 win that snapped a four-game skid against the Hurricanes.
Brandon Davis epitomized his team’s control on both sides of the ball, scoring four touchdowns – two on offense and two on defense – to help Soddy-Daisy improve to 2-0.
“I was just having a good game tonight,” Davis said. “I had a good mindset all day today and thought about how I was going to execute in the game. They beat us four years in a row, and we were able to get some revenge.”
Davis scored twice on the ground and added interception returns of 42 and 95 yards with a simple formula on defense.
